As a student of music Kim Browers quickly fell in love with everything about bellydance. She joined the Beledi Dancers of Cloquet, MN in 1997 and performed cabaret/folkloric solos and group choreography with them for 2 years. After leaving the group she continued to practice and take classes when able. She moved to Nashville in 2004 and met the group Stella Luna Tribal of Lebanon, TN. They formally introduced her to tribal-fusion bellydance which she has been studying ever since. During her 3 years of involvement with StellaLuna, she performed in Tennessee, Alabama, and Pennsylvania, assisted with classes, and attended numerous workshops across the country. Along with bellydance, she has studied musical theatre, some ballet, and Salsa while living in Granada, Spain. Don't be surprised if you see some Flamenco style when she dances either! |
