Becca Mayer


Becca began yoga ten years ago for physical fitness, but with time and practice, yoga became a tool for mental and physical healing. Her teaching focuses on the yogic tenet of ahimsa or being kind to yourself and others. With this in mind, she seeks to learn about students’ goals, challenges and backgrounds individually, so she can help them experience yoga with compassion and courage. Becca received her Ashtanga Primary Series teacher certification from David Swenson in 2015 and studied with R. Saraswati Jois at the K. Pattahbi Jois Ashtanga Yoga Shala in Mysore, India in 2016 and 2017.
